Itinerary:

Day 1; Welcome

• Welcome to Turkey. Arrive at Istanbul Airport, get picked up and transfer to your hotel. Check in,
• Free day,
• First overnight stay at your hotel in Istanbul.

Day 2;Full day tour of Europe & Asia – pick up by 08:30, drop off by 17:00;

• Take a cruise on the Bosphorus Strait, the busy waterway that runs between the Marmara and Black Seas with European Istanbul on one shore and Asian Istanbul on the other. Sit back, relax and enjoy the fresh air, the sea and the sights as you pass magnificent palaces, mosques, mansions and places of historical note.
• After getting off the boat at Eminonu, continue your tour into the historic Egyptian (Spice) Bazaar nearby that is bursting with traditional sweets, coffee and spices, and oozing with appeal.
• Later you will drive over the Bosphorus Bridge to the summit of Camlica Hill which is popular for its magnificent panoramic views and the opportunity to take some great photos.
• After free time given at the hill, you will continue your adventure with your guide by spending a great time in the Asian side of Istanbul visiting the Beylerbeyi Palace which was a summer residence of the Ottoman sultans. Ordered to be built by Sultan Abdulaziz, started constraction in 1861 and completed in 1865. Its marvellous view will mesmerize you and you will immerse yourself into Ottoman history as our guide gives detailed information about the palace.

Evening transfer to Istanbul Airport and flight to Antalya. Transfer to your hotel following the flight and check in,

Day 3; Full day Antalya City Tour – pick up by 09:30, drop off by 16:00;

NOTE: On Monday, the cable car is closed. Therefore, it is replaced with the boat cruise.

• Antalya is one of the most sightseeing attractions in Turkey. Its history dates back to 200 BC when the Greeks began their settlement.
• We will take you to the historical old town (Kaleici) where you will encounter the beauty of Ottoman Architecture and the Hadrian Gate which was built in 130 AD in order to commemorate the Emperor Hadrian.
• Along the way, we will visit the Duden Waterfalls. Afterwards, you will have a free time at Antalya Bazaar where you can go shopping.
• The Old Fluted Minaret with its 38 m height is one of the top historical attractions in Antalya. It was built in 13th Century by the Seljuks. Today, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List (not operated from October to April, we will skip during winter months).
• Tunektepe Cable car has length of 1706 meters. It can carry 1200 people and has 36 cabins. Enjoy the cable car ride which will last 9 minutes.

Day 4; Afternoon pick up from your hotel and transfer to Antalya bus station. Get on the bus and drive to Pamukkale. Get picked up upon arrival and transfer to your hotel, check in.

Day 5; Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) tour – pick up by 09:30, drop off by 15:30;

• This tour starts in Pamukkale to visit the expansive and magnificent ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis that was founded in the 2^nd century BC to take advantage of the thermal pools nearby.
• Hierapolis sits atop a hill and features an enormous necropolis, baths, theatre, temples, an agora and antique pool.  You will have time to yourself to wander the site before walking down the hill on the sparkling white travertine and enjoying lunch at a local restaurant.
• Entry to Cleopatra’s Pool in Hierapolis is not included in the cost of the tour.

• Drive to Kusadasi following the tour. Arrive at the hotel and check in,

Day 6; Full day Ephesus Tour – pick up by 08:30, drop off by 16:30; 

• The day starts with a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary that is significant to both Christians and Muslims and currently serves as a chapel. From here, the tour continues to Ephesus – one of the most important harbour cities of the antique world. The ruins are magnificent and highlights include the Celsus Library, Gate of Augustus, the beautifully-decorated terrace houses, a huge amphitheatre and the Temple of Hadrian.
• Enjoy lunch at a local Turkish restaurant and afterwards, a trip to Isa Bey Mosque (1375) and the ruins of the Artemis Temple which was one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Evening transfer to Izmir Airport and flight to Kayseri. Transfer to your hotel following the flight and check-in,

Day 7; Morning Hot Air Balloon Flight Cappadocia – Early morning at Sunrise;

Have you thought of making a hot air balloon trip one of the highlights of your trip to Turkey? It is hard to imagine anywhere better to experience the thrill of the ride than above the incredible landscape of Cappadocia. In a balloon, you can take in the beauty and expanse of this breath-taking place from a different perspective as you drift in silence to heights of up to 700 meters.

Optional Full day Regional Tour – pick up by 09:30, drop off by 16:00;

Cappadocia is known for its stunning conical rock formations (fairy chimneys), colourful landscapes and ancient homes that were carved into the rock formations. This tour takes you through the beautiful Devrent (Imagination) Valley where fairy chimneys tower overhead before moving into Pasabag (Monk Valley) nearby, where the fairy chimneys have strange double and triple-headed caps.After lunch at Avanos, you will visit the Goreme open air museum that has churches and frescoes from the 10^th and 12^th centuries. The day finishes at Uchisar Castle, a fortress that was cut from a large and tall fairy chimney.

Day 8; Free day

Afternoon transfer to Kayseri/Nevsehir Airport and flight to Istanbul. Arrive and transfer to your hotel following the flight, check-in.

General Information & Policies About All Packages;

• Hotels’ check in time is at 14:00 and check out is at 11:00. In case you are in a tour around the check in and out time, know that you can leave your luggage packed in your room or at the reception together with your room’s key. For your convenience, early and late check in and out could be arranged. Just let us know in advance and also an extra fee will be applied for  this accommodation
• Guests will be informed by us day before about next day’s pick up time, schedule in written by message threat. Please check carefully. Ask us if there is anything not clear in mind. We will be happy to answer all questions. We are not responsible if any tour or service is missed because of guests’ miscommunication
• All communications must be done written as it will be better to keep in notes not to miss or forget anything said, not by calls.
• We kindly request our guests to be ready 15 minutes prior to departure time. Guests need to arrive promptly at the meeting points given by Archives Tours and Travels (hotel lobby, not inside room or breakfast hall), or the tour will proceed without them.
• Due to traffic conditions beyond our control, pick up may be delayed
• Archives Tours and Travels is not responsible for any loss or theft of belongings during the tour. If any guest forgets belongings anywhere and return to get it, group will not wait for them and proceed to next place in programmed.
• Please check hotels given by us in advance online about their locations, amenities, room sizes etc. Let us know if to change to any other. We are not able to do any changes once tour starts at free of charge. Cancellation penalties will apply by hotels if the reservations are cancelled within last few days.
• Please expect as much service as explained on itineraries, tour or service means from 8-9 am to 4-5 pm. After finishing day tours contact us only if any emergency occurs any time 24 hours (Night flights or tours are exceptional).
• The luggage allowance is 15 kilos carry on and 8 kilos cabin for domestic flights and 30 kilos carry on and 8 kilos cabin for International flights per person. Guests with extra luggage might besubjected to pay additional fees by the airline company arranging directly at airports. Carrying of extra luggage is guests own responsibility anywhere they go.
• Airport transfers waiting time we can do maximum at International arrivals is 1 hour, Domestic arrivals is 30 minutes after landing. Guests getting out after this time period are responsible to arrange their own transportation at their own cost to the hotels booked. Please do not waste time at airports eating, drinking something or getting a sim card, there are lots of restaurants or phone shops in city center at lower rates around the hotels we will book for you. Guests going from their hotels to airports need to be ready on time also, or the vehicle will depart to catch its next schedule and guests will need to arrange their own transportation at their own cost as well.
• Please read all tour descriptions carefully, let us know if you have any questions in advance.
• Full due of payment need to be done at arrival day, not left to later
• All tours in each city have some walking parts. Please dress up and get comfortable shoes ready accordingly
• None of the tours are suitable for disabled people
• Always remember whatever your position or rank in your country stays in your country, everyone visiting Turkey is a normal tourist for us, has the same value like all our guests, no one is privileged
• None of our packages include dinner, we are accommodating our guests at most central hotels and lots of restaurants to go directly by their own. Please do not ask to include dinner
• Tour package of guests who are not following above conditions will be stopped at the time of first problem occurs and not refunded.
